He was (or possibly only a part of) the Soul Cannon's final firing that ended both the Vanargand and Shvein Hax. The Fuga manga has revealed that this boy was part of an effort to create artificial humans to pilot Titano-Machina for a "crusade".

Biography

Jiru is, currently, described as an artificial human. His color palette is almost monochromatic with very pale skin, gray-ish clothing, and white hair. His gloves are patterned with circular shapes which are much like those seen on some Hybrids. He appears to be forcibly strapped & chained onto a mechanical chair.

In an accidental leak by CyberConncect2 under a Fuga 2 gameplay video, Jiru has been revealed to possess animalistic ears and blueish skin during an unknown point in the story.

History

Creation

2000 years before the events of Fuga: Melodies of Steel, a group of researchers involved with Belenos and the Taranis had been attempting to create artificial humans. Only very few had managed to stay alive, with the most significant one being Jiru.

Reawakening

In Fuga's true ending, Jeanne seeks an alternative method to firing the Soul Cannon that did not require a sacrifice. She ends up finding Jiru deep within, who appears to have been in a comatose state inside a capsule. Despite her knowing that she'll cease to function without his life in the tank, Jeanne proceeds to use his Bio-Energy to destroy Shvein Hax and the Vanargand.

The Secret Movie in the first title alludes to Jiru managing to survive the cannon and seek revenge upon Malt Marzipan and his crew. This is still subject to change in Fuga 2.

Trivia

  • Jeanne's counterpart was sealed away & put into a deep slumber for what was likely centuries, very much like Baion's multi-millennia-long sleep.
