Early Life[edit | edit source]

Chick and her twin brother Hack lived in peace at Tosa, a village located within the Province of Dale, with their mother. When the Berman Empire ransacked the village and kidnapped all of the adults, the twins struggled to find shelter and food until the arrival of the Taranis. They would then become stowaways in the tank and join the rest of the crew soon after.

During her time as a crew member, Chick develops a crush on Malt Marzipan, innocently fantasizing marrying him in the future.

After The War[edit | edit source]

Canonically, both twins survive the war against the Berman Empire and resume a peaceful life alongside their mother. The two would also fall back into their prank-pulling habits.

Gameplay[edit | edit source]

Fuga: Melodies of Steel[edit | edit source]

Chick, as a Grenadier, specializes in weakening enemy defenses. Much of her arsenal involves Vanish, which can clean an enemy out of any status buffs such as Wrath, and can also fire grenades capable of inflicting Weakness. Her support ability can deplete the required amount of SP necessary for any skill used by whoever is seated in front, providing a way to utilize skills back-to-back more conservatively.

Chick's Hero Mode grants her the ability to use any of her skills completely free of cost. This opens the perfect opportunity to weaken swathes of enemies in order to allow other teammates to inflict status ailments with ease.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • In keeping with the theme of naming children after sweets, Chick and her brother's surname likely comes from dessert montblancs, sweetened chestnut purees formed into long, pasta-like strands.
  • Chick's design was slightly influenced by both the works of Jiro Ota and the anime Dream-Star Button Nose.[1]
