Fuga: Melodies of Steel 3 is an upcoming title in the Little Tail Bronx series of video games and the final installment to the Fuga trilogy.

The following references the secret trailer seen in Fuga 2. Details are subject to change with development.

After Malt Marzipan discovers the Taranis has mysteriously returned to Petit Mona, he confronts his brother who appears to know more of their world than meets the eye. The story then delves into the Old World, the Maestro's true intentions, the children's ancestry of lions and wolves, and potentially much more. Another war breaks out as well, leading to more loss and the return of Flam Kish who was previously comatose.

Fuga 3 marks a series first of incorporating the ancient lion and wolf tribes into the main plot. Two children are known to transform into the respective species of their ancestors, who are both Malt and Boron Brioche. It is implied that all of the children born in Petit Mona come from these lineages.

Gameplay

Fuga 3 plays much of the same as the previous titles, though it introduces air battles with the Taranis Ω and features more embellishments for the game's UI and battle system. More information will be available as more content is revealed.

Combos

New to this title, a combo system is in place that rewards players with a multiplier. This increases with every attack, and may break if one is missed.

Development

Development officially began in August 2023. Teaser images were released via Famitsu revealing Malt's brother's concept art, early cutscene artwork, and detailed concept art of a new airship resembling the Asmodeus.

The game was declared to be nearing beta on May 21st, 2024 by CC2 president Matsuyama.[1] It was also at this time that he stated the amount of recorded dialogue will be the largest the series has ever seen.

Anthrocon 2024

During a Thursday panel at Anthrocon 2024, more information was revealed from CC2. This includes new concept art of a new human/Hybrid, a semi-feral cat character who serves as the new tank AI, and multiple cutscene paintings. There was also new gameplay footage streamed at the event showing that the new Taranis Ω can now take part in air battles, the children are clothed in Crusader-esque attire, and a new griffon mech enemy.

It was stated here that more information will be revealed sometime between September and October of 2024.
