She, along with her twin brother Hack, are members of a rescue team composed of other children who are set on rescuing their parents from the Berman Empire.

Biography

Hack's twin sister. Surprisingly caring for her age, Chick follows her brother on his prankster antics, and usually stops him from going overboard

Chick is an incredibly short Welsh Corgi Caninu. She wears a dress with a yellow scarf, and also has a purse strapped over her shoulder. On her head is a helmet found on the battlefield that's adorned with a flower, which is in contrast with her brother's more tattered helmet.

History

Fuga: Melodies of Steel

Early Life

Chick and her twin brother Hack lived in peace at Tosa, a village located within the Province of Dale, with their mother. When the Berman Empire ransacked the village and kidnapped all of the adults, the twins struggled to find shelter and food until the arrival of the Taranis. They would then become stowaways in the tank and join the rest of the crew soon after.

During her time as a crew member, Chick develops a crush on Malt Marzipan, innocently fantasizing marrying him in the future.

After The War

Canonically, both twins survive the war against the Berman Empire and resume a peaceful life alongside their mother. The two would also fall back into their prank-pulling habits.

Trivia

  • In keeping with the theme of naming children after sweets, Chick and her brother's surname likely comes from dessert montblancs, sweetened chestnut purees formed into long, pasta-like strands.
  • Chick's design was slightly influenced by both the works of Jiro Ota and the anime Dream-Star Button Nose.[1]
