Fuga: Melodies of Steel 3 is the third and final title to the Fuga trilogy of videogames.

The story continues right after Fuga 2's true ending, where Malt Marzipan confronts his older brother Ash in the same cave where the Taranis was first discovered. After Ash and the Crimson Knights kidnap Malt, the other children board the tank once again to save him.

The children will face a reinforced Berman Imperial Army, the aforementioned Crimson Knights, Titano-Machina, and potentially even higher stakes threats from the Maestro who plans to eliminate those living in the New World. To thwart them, the Taranis evolves into the Taranis Ω which gives them the power to perform air battles. The Taranis also earns a new AI whose a quadruped cat named Chathie.

The story is to dive deeper into the history of Juno, explore space travel, revisit the Old World, and so on. Flam Kish and Doktor Blutwurst are also shown alive and conscious, with the former being helped by Jin Macchiato and the latter seemingly being reanimated.

The game is slated to release May 29th, 2025 worldwide on all major gaming platforms. All three games will release physically for the very first time exclusively for the Nintendo Switch as well.
