Little Tail Bronx is the name given to the shared universe of Tail Concerto, Solatorobo: Red the Hunter, Fuga: Melodies of Steel, Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2, Fuga: Melodies of Steel 3, and all spin-off material related to the games. The world in each game consists of floating islands populated by two races; the Caninu (dog-people) and Felineko (cat-people). The entire series is considered to be CyberConnect2's passion project.

While the series' trademark characteristics such as the sky islands & use of robots were first established in Tail Concerto, it wouldn't be until Solatorobo and Mamoru-kun (to a small extent) when CyberConnect2 would proceed to flesh out the lore that's still referred to in later titles and novels.

Characters named after food

Most character's names in the series are named after some type of food. This naming convention is a very common practices in the games, with some groups of people from certain nations being named after entire ethnicities of food.

• Most of the time their surname displays this convention (such as Red Savarin or Chick Montblanc).
• Sometimes some individuals have 2 food related names in both their first and last names (such as Waffle Ryebread, Chocolat Gelato, or Malt Marzipan).
• In the Fuga: Melodies of Steel (trilogy), the people of the Free Lands of Gasco are often named after French foods, the children of the games are named after sweets, and members of the Berman Empire are named after German foods.

Robos/Mechas

Robots, Airships, and Mechas are a common reoccurring theme throughout the series, with the main character/s often piloting them.
