The Adventures of Sucre is a fictional comic series in the Fuga: Melodies of Steel series. The comics follow an adventurer named Sucre and his sidekicks Crema & Miella as they solve their clients' mysteries.

The comic possesses odd undertones which become more prominent throughout Fuga 2. Currently, there are two stories available, and both present eerily familiar stories and characteristics seen throughout Little Tail Bronx. Many of the events shown throughout the comics appear to be foreshadowing events that may unfold throughout Fuga 3.

Interesting details include a Felineko gentleman who appears to be Fool, rock golems being summoned with a medallion, and multiple references to the moon which persist throughout the first two Fuga titles.

History

Fuga: Melodies of Steel

The Adventures of Sucre comic series was written and illustrated by an artist under the pen name "Lunet". Not much else is known about the artist other than passing comments from readers that they often feature the moon in their work, possibly as a symbol or a reference to their name.

Only one story out of the series is viewable in Fuga, which is titled "-The Vanishing Key Arc-".

The story tells of a mysterious pendent that once activated opens a hole into another dimension, but this would result in the entire land being sucked into said dimension and destroyed in the process. This mirrors what eventually happens to the Free Lands of Gasco after the Vanargand is activated.

Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2

A man who refers to himself as and dresses like Count Nouvellune occasionally meets Malt during his journey. He gifts comics from the series to those who catch his interest, yet he also mysteriously always happens to have the latest issue at hand to give out to Malt. It is eventually revealed through multiple slip of tongue incidents that HE is Lunet, the author of the series (and that he is keeping a close eye on Malt's journey for his own secretive reasons).

A brand new story unfolds as the game progress, which is titled "-Fly to the Moon Arc-".

The story tells of a cave built by an ancient civilization (humanity) and a machine locked inside called the Taran (Taranis) that once activated, uses two individuals as a power source (similar to the Soul Cannon) and is designed to destroy Juno (which is an energy Crystal with the Juno symbol inside). Sucre must stop the Taran from destroying the Juno, as not only will his friends be harmed, but his chance to use a rocket to the moon will also be thwarted. The entire premise of the comic is similar to how Jihl captures Malt's friends at the start of the game, as well as how the Taranis was discovered in the first game.
