Dummy Soul

A dummy soul is a gameplay and story element featured throughout the Fuga series. It was first introduced as a bonus feature in the first title's deluxe edition.

Properties

Dummy souls are portrayed as discs containing data that emulates a living being. They are used to fool the Taranis' and Exo-Taranis' Soul Cannon into firing without performing a proper sacrifice. A dummy soul, story-wise, is also capable of reversing an already complete sacrifice under strange circumstances. Where dummy souls come from and how they're manufactured remains vague.
