"Caninus" is not a term
Throughout Solatorobo and Fuga, "Caninu" has been used as a singular and plural term. Rarely, if ever, has the term "Caninus" been used in the series, compared to how both "Felineko" and "Felinekos" have been used as plural terms (and even then, the former has been far more consistently used than the latter). The Category title should be changed accordingly. BlurryDawgo (talk) 09:55, 11 March 2025 (EDT)
- Can you provide some recent examples of Caninu and Felineko used plurally? Zoltier (talk) 11:05, 11 March 2025 (EDT)
"Caninus" is not a term
In Solatorobo, the Library entries consistently use "Caninu" as a singular and plural term.
- From "Races - Caninu and Felineko Characteristics": "Caninu and Felineko have the following characteristics."
- From "Lifestyle - Currency, Clothing": "There are no distinct clothing differences between Caninu and Felineko."
- From "History - Hundred Lillies War": "This is also recorded as the first battle in which Caninu used Robots."
Fuga follows suit.
- From "Jeanne Archives - The New People": "The humanoid races that shared many features with dogs and cats (called Caninu and Felineko, respectively) both prospered and created a History all their own."
- Description for the first manga volume on Amazon and Steam: " The story takes place on a floating continent, an archipelago of both small and large floating islands where two species known as Caninu and Felineko live."
There's been cases of "Felinekos", but no real use of "Caninus" to my knowledge. BlurryDawgo (talk) 15:01, 11 March 2025 (EDT)
